The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. Honor has come with the metal unibody for this smartphone which gives it that premium look and feels In hand feel of the device is pretty good. Volume keys and Power Buttons are on the right side. At the back, the device has Dual Cameras and a single-LED flash. There is also 3.5mm headphone Jack is preset.

Performance & UI

7X comes with HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, the same processor powering the Honor 9i It is an Octa-core processor and It is comparable with the Snapdragon 625. It is an octa-core processor which is 2.36GHz and the other four clocked at 1.7GHz. Here both of the variants of 7X comes with the 4GB ram that’s the good part. You have to spend more money if you want to get 64 GB storage. On Antutu, it managed to score 62,504, 906 and 3569 points on Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

The device comes with the EMUI 5.1 on top of Android Nougat 7.0. They could have gone with the latest version of the android. EMUI also comes with theme support and a bit of customisation which many people like. The performance of this thing was good it had all the apps in memory & ram management was done pretty well.  You can play heavy games with this device without any frame drops or lags.

The device does not support any kind of fast charging. Basic usage involving scrolling social feeds, texting, listening to music can give you 5 hours of screen-on time. If you are not the heavy user then it can last you one day or more. 7X takes almost 3 hours to charge the device from 10-100 percentage which is disappointing. They should provide USB TYPE C or Fast charging.
