Moto G5 and G5 Plus are now official with Snapdragon 430 & Snapdragon 625 respectively Ashiq Shaikh February 26, 2017 News Moto pulled the wraps off the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at the MWC in Barcelona just moments ago. The new budget phones have an improved design and new camera sensor. Moto G5 The G5 comes with a 5.” 1080p display with 441 ppi. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 430 octa-core chip clocked at 1.4 Ghz and has 2/3 gigabytes of RAM. On the back, there is a 13MP, f/2.0, 1.1-micron pixels, PDAF and 5MP f/2.2 selfie snapper. G5 has 2800 mAh Removable Battery and supports 10W rapid charger. It runs on Android 7 Nougat. Moto is going to launch the G5 in 3 colors – Lunar Gray, fine gold and Sapphire Blue (EMEA). Pricing will vary based on hardware configuration, but the Moto G5 will start at $210. Moto G5 Plus Moto, continuing the G4 tradition, announced a G5 Plus model, too. It packs a 5.2″ screen of FHD resolution and keeps a similar design with the G5Plus. The G5 Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip clocked at 2 Ghz and has 2/3/4 gigabytes of RAM. On the back, there is a 12MP, f/1.7, 1.4-micron pixels, dual AF pixels and same 5MP f/2.2 selfie snapper. Finally, the G5Plus has a slightly bigger 3000mAh Removable battery, which also supports 15W TurboPower Charger. Moto is going to launch the G5 Plus in 2 colors -Lunar Gray and fine gold Pricing will vary based on hardware configuration, but the Moto G5 will start at $229.
