Google Pixel XL 2017 Design Leak Shows Narrow Bezels Ashiq Shaikh July 12, 2017 News Rumoured specifications of the Google Pixel XL (2017 Edition) were leaked recently and now, Android Police has shared an rendered image that offers a glimpse at the design of the phone. Though not a final design. The image is actually a “recreation” based on evidence from a reliable source. As per the image, it looks like the new pixel will have a metal body with a glass panel on the back as on last year’s phone. There is a single non-protruding camera module at the top with dual-tone LED flash and the fingerprint sensor is placed outside the glass area this time. The rear of the phones also has a fingerprint scanner and curves around the edges. On the front, Pixel XL 2 looks like every other Android phone released this year: the bezels are slimmed down and the corners of the screen are rounded (resemblance to the LG G6). Unlike the G6, the display is a 6-inch AMOLED display made by LG with 2:1 aspect ratio (18:9 aspect ratio just like the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8). The report mentions: the Google Pixel XL (2017 Edition) will be squeezable, just like the HTC U11. You’ll be able to put pressure on the sides of the frame and a function will happen.
